Samina represents the third generation of the founding family of Cipla, the $12bn global healthcare group. In her former role as Cipla's Executive Vice Chairperson she championed a period of unprecedented growth, doubling the company's revenue and tripling value while navigating one of the most challenging chapters in its history.
Aside from her overarching responsibilities at Cipla, she spearheaded the incubation and rapid scaling of Cipla's consumer health startup, in partnership with a leading Private Equity firm. She has played an active role in investing and advising consumer startups in India and is excited to support the next generation of consumer brands looking to build similarly lasting legacies.
Samina has a Master's in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining Cipla, she worked in Investment Management with Goldman Sachs, across their London and New York offices.
